KONTENER

In the modular storage unit entitled CONTAINER, both stacking and sliding together are once again under discussion. CONTAINER consists of one basic element – a module – in which two drawers can lie constantly concealed behind one facade. Each time a different sense is created through the closing of one or more units, which in turn brings about a new spatial experience. A sense of displacement is obtained whereby the units that are linked on top of and to each other become relative instead of absolute. CONTAINER stands on wheels and, as a result, it disallows any fixed location.
