[:nl]SAUDADE is een meubel dat moeilijk van de grond komt – dat bedoel ik niet alleen letterlijk- én een metafoor voor geheel mijn oeuvre dat zich gestaag probeert te onttrekken aan de zwaartekracht van de consumptiemaatschappij. SAUDADE wil de heldere, samengebalde formulering zijn van een nostalgisch verlangen naar Mei ’68, een verlangen naar een betere en mooiere wereld waarin de verbeelding aan de macht zou komen, een droom die achteraf door de idealisten van toen werd doodgedrukt.
